Yes, our parking spaces are reserved for our 1-bedroom suites. However, parking is limited to small cars thru midsized SUVs and small trucks (Toyota Tacoma). Our
parking lot and driveway are tight and has no turn around for larger vehicles. We
can not accommodate full size trucks and oversized SUVs.
Parking is not 100% guaranteed at time of booking and will be assigned 24hrs in
advance. For alternate parking, there is metered parking right in front of the hotel on Vernon St.
Meters run Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm, they cost $1.25/hr
You can park for free outside of these times, and it is ok to park at meters overnight.
Please inquire for free options/longer hour options within 1-3 blocks of the hotel.
No, we are a pet-free hotel.
Our standard check-in time is 4pm / Checkout time is 11am.
Early check-ins can be arranged (depending on availability) up to 2hrs prior to standard check-in time of 4pm for free. If you require a check-in before 2pm you will be subject to a $50 fee. Early check-ins must be arranged 24hrs prior to your arrival and must be communicated by email or phone call.
Our checkout time is 11 a.m., at which point your pin code will deactivate. If you depart earlier, we ask that you let us know via email or text so we may adjust our cleaning schedules. If you’d like to request a 1hr extension for a checkout of 12pm, please let us know at least 1 day in advance and we will be happy to accommodate if this option is available. Any late checkout past 12pm will be charged a $50 fee.
We are a small boutique hotel, so all our reservations, cancellations and timely checkouts are all vital to our operation. If a guest checks out after 11 a.m. without prior approval, that guest will be subject to a $50 fee. Please email info@stirlingsuites.com
Yes, we have a sauna and cold plunge available for guests to enjoy between the hours of 2pm – 10pm daily. The local community center is located ½ block away from the hotel (Nelson & District Aquatic Center) which includes a gym, pool, hot tub and steam room. Pool/beach towels are provided in your suite.
No, each suite has a fully equipped kitchen if you would like to cook your own meals. And we are within a few minutes’ walk to many restaurants, coffee shops and the local Kootenay co-op health food store. You can order take out to the hotel; however, you must meet the delivery person at the front door to receive your order.
Yes, we have secure indoor ski storage with locking ski racks, a tuning table and boot heaters. For bikes we have secured covered bike storage. Ski/snowboards and/or bikes are not permitted inside the hotel. Please let us know if you will need storage for these items and we will be sure to provide you with access.
